The history of the creation and development of the Kazaviaspas Joint-stock Company



    At the present time, the increased frequency of natural disasters and man-made accidents dictate the need for a timely and appropriate response. For these purposes, the Kazaviaspas Joint—Stock Company was formed — aviation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan - which makes it possible to respond promptly and effectively to emergencies.

    The history of the Kazaviaspas joint-stock company dates back to 2002. In February 2002, the aviation department was formed as part of the republican state enterprise Ort Sondirushi of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. By Order of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 26, 2002 No. 638, a new aviation unit "Kazakh Aviation Fire Extinguishing and Emergency Rescue Service" was opened as part of the RSE "Ort Sondirushi".

    On January 25, 2005, by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 53, the Republican State Enterprise Kazaviaspas was established on the right of economic management, which on April 20, 2011, in accordance with the relevant decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the order of the Committee on State Property and Privatization of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was transformed into Kazaviaspas Joint Stock Company with one hundred percent state participation in the Authorized capital.

    The main activity of the joint-stock company is the provision of aviation services to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations and other business activities in the field of civil aviation.

    The aircraft of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan carry out flights to deliver humanitarian supplies, rescue teams and special equipment to emergency zones. In addition, the aviation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is involved in flying over flood zones and mountain slopes of the city of Almaty in order to conduct aerial reconnaissance and assessment of flood and ice conditions, provides recovery work after an emergency, participates in work to rescue fishermen in distress, to extinguish steppe and forest fires.

    154 tons of humanitarian cargo were delivered by planes of the Kazaviaspas joint-stock company to foreign countries, namely Pakistan and Japan. Several flights to Turkey were also carried out in order to deliver Kazakh tourists to their homeland.
